As the world is encompassing and circling around the topic of sustainability so does the European countries. Sustainability is not just with one particular segment but the topic is covered in all different sectors and segments. The topic is covered in different paradigm and dimensions. Netherlands is not lacking behind in the domain of sustainability. Just like its other counterparts in the European countries, Netherlands is investing in green bonds, sustainable products in Energy, Food, Insurance and also in the Fashion segment. With every age, just not the kind of transportation but also in our dietary and clothing segments also changed.
As per a survey conducted in 2019 by the Climate Bonds Initiative and Statista estimates, the top 5 countries with higher value of the green bonds across the worldwide market are US, China, France, Germany and Netherlands.
However, a survey by b-open, SAMR.Marktvinders, around 43% of people in the Netherlands claims distrust in sustainable products or the sustainable goals. The reason is unknown.
In my opinion, sustainability provided an open door opportunity for entrepreneurs, the creators to explore a new venture with new ideas and provide innovative solution with rays of faith and hope. The journey provided options to come with new themes and repackage the old products and present them in a scheme but how far is it really going to sustain and achieve an 100% assurance and security from the citizen in the Netherlands is not known and whether it will happen in the future is need to be seen with patience.
