The new Ace EV in India is the most advanced, zero-emission, four-wheel small commercial vehicle with a green and innovative transportation solution.
The Ace EV will be the first product with Tata Motor’s EVOGEN powertrain with an unparalleled certified range of 154 kilometers.
It is meant for all weather conditions with an advanced battery cooling system and regenerative braking system for boosting the driving range.
The technical features include a 27kw (36bhp) power motor with 130 Nm of peak torque for ensuring the highest cargo volume of 208 ft3 and a grade-ability of 22% to allow for an easy ascend in a fully loaded condition.
The Ace EV supports regular and fast charging capabilities with containers of lightweight, durable materials suitable for e-commerce logistics.
The company signed MoM with leading e-commerce providers such as Amazon, BigBasket, City Link, DOT, Flipkart, LetsTransport, MoEVing, and Yelo EV.
As per the MoM:-
- 39,000 vehicles units of Ace EV will be delivered.
- Electric Vehicle Support Centres for maximum fleet uptime.
- Deployment of Tata fleet Edge.
- Next-gen optimal fleet management solution
- Support of Tata UniEVerse
As said by Ace EV, N Chandrasekaran, Chairman, Tata Sons, and Tata Motors, “E-mobility is an idea whose time has come. Well, Tata captured the right logistic e-commerce market, as electrification is definitely very much needed and also demanded. With regular transportation of logistic services to meet the demand of the people, e-mobility is required to combat emission issues and use e-vehicles on a large mass scale.
Tata motors also signed an agreement with BluSmart Electric Mobility to deliver 10,000 XPRES T EVs.
