A record decrease in the number of registrations was observed in March by 17.5% to 241,330 and in plug-in EVs by 6% to 61762.
The reason is not due to lack of demand but interruptions of production. Interesting!
Something any EV manufacturer would like to avoid or something new is boiling up in the EV industry with the latest information of Tesla also halting its production line in Berlin.
The results as per categories:
- BEVs: 34,474 – up 15% at 14.3% market share
- PHEVs: 27,288 – down 23% at 11.3% market share
- Total: 61,762 – down 6% at 25.6% market share
