SAIC (Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation), a Chinese state-owned multinational automotive manufacturing company. The company is also involved in the research and design of both passenger and commercial vehicles. The company is working on various collaborations to meet consumer needs. The company is headquartered in Shanghai, China.

The company is listed as one of the 100 Fortune Global companies. With the largest auto productions in 2014, one of the “Big Four” state-owned Chinese automakers. It also got the 12th worldwide ranking in Auto production.

SAIC is involved in the Sino-foreign car joint venture with Volkswagen and General Motors. SAIC also owned two major brands, MG, a historic British car marque, and Roewe in 2006.

SAIC is involved in selling vehicles under various brands. Feifan (former name R Brand), dedicated to new energy and intelligent vehicles.

In 2020, SAIC motors sold 5.6 million finished vehicles, with 320,000 new energy vehicles. SAIC published the number of vehicles sold under the joint collaboration.
