Do Italians are optimistic about making a real impact to protect the environmental problems in Italy? As per Istituto Ixè, around 90% agree that each individual can make a real impact to protect the environment. The role of each individual is very important as per the Italians.
In another survey, more than 70% agrees about the importance of sustainability talks. They often talk about such topics with their friends, relatives, or colleagues.
A survey by Euromedia Research, Friday for Future movement has been seen impactful to create an awareness of climate age among the youth, middle age, or even the older people. More than 55% of the people in the age group of 18-24 yrs, see the importance of the Friday for Future movement.
More than 48% in the age group of 25 to 44 years, 48% in the age group of 45-64 years, and 50% in the age group of 65 years and above.

The report shows Global warming is the most important problem that needs to be addressed in Italy. Waste management and Air pollution come next. The survey was conducted in 2020 with 1,120 people who are above 18 years.
In my opinion, the initiative among the Italians is placed strongly on creating awareness. The more informative is the awareness, it can influence strongly the individual to take necessary steps for climate changes.
