As per Sid Nag, research vice president at Gartner, “The cloud is an integral part and driver of enterprise digitization.” “CIOs have emerged from the era of irrational exuberance in procuring public cloud services. They are now choosing public cloud providers wisely to achieve their business and technology goals on their digital transformation journey.”
Finally, Nag concluded that “IT leaders who view the cloud as an enabler rather than the end state will be the most successful on their digital transformation journey.” “However, companies that combine the cloud with other technologies will do even better.”
