The presence of the IT service market in Mongolia as compared to other Asian countries is quite small. But the country is taking steps to develop its IT industry and infrastructure.
The current technologies adopted in Mongolia are:

- Internet of Things (IoT): The Mongolian government is also investing heavily in IoT infrastructure and working on developing new IoT applications and services.

- Cybersecurity: The increased use of digital technologies has led to cybersecurity becoming an important concern in Mongolia. Important steps have been taken by the government to improve the country’s cybersecurity infrastructure and educate citizens about safe online practices.
The Mongolian government is working hard to promote the development of the IT industry by providing funding and supporting the companies working in the field.
