What’s new with Piaggio Vespa electtrica?

As you can guess by the name, Vespa is an Italian luxury brand scooter manufactured by Piaggio. In Italian it means wasp. In 1946, it got evolved from a single model motor scooter by Piaggio & Co. S.p.A. of Pontedera.

Currently, Enrico Piaggio is the owner, he is the son of Piaggio’s founder Rinaldo Piaggio. In India, Vespa’s partners are Bajaj Auto and LML Motors.

       The brushless DC motor with 4 kW peak power is the feature of the Vespa Elettrica. It got 200 Nm of peak torque. The lithium-ion battery capacity is 4.2 kWh with a range of 100 km in Eco mode, and 70 km in Power mode.

The maximum speed is 70 kmph in power mode and 45 kmph in Eco mode. It is available with Bluetooth connectivity with Vespa connectivity mobile app, a fully digital instrument cluster with a TFT display.

It got a speedometer for offering calls and message display. It is also available with a 4.3-inch TFT dash connected to your phone. The market price is Rs. 90,000. The charging time is 3.5 hours. The motor power is 3600W ( Really good compared to Hero electric photon).
