The women are empowered to build and scale up self-owned collective enterprises in sustainable natural fiber and regenerative agricultural value chains, such as banana, bamboo, and non-timber forest produce.
  2. Market Access:  35 units have been established for women’s collectives and four producer companies where the entities are supplied with homewares and apparel meeting sustainable procurement standards to major global retailers like IKEA, H&M Home, Fabindia, and the Future Group.
  3. Economic Empowerment: The ecosystem provides women with upskilling, capital, digital tools, and more. Around 500,000 lives have been impacted by ensuring more than 58 million USD cumulative market access.

    Q: Tell us about your organization

    We are from the Industry Foundation, Bangalore. We work with the rural people, women. We are manufacturing the banana, bamboo, saw leaf, and also the river grass products, which is 100% natural products, right?

    And which is biodegradable 100% and which has even the saw leaf material and all, it’s 100% degradable and natural products. And we work with the rural people over different states in India, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Maharashtra, & Odisha.

    Q: What about the price?

    We can discuss it later right. In a competitive price. We give them based on the customer requirement. So that can be negotiated further in the financing states.

    Q: Target clients are big industry or smaller organizations?

    It is a big industry. We are selling in lakhs also. Lakhs of quantities also we are selling. Even thousands of quantities also we are selling.
