The plan has been commenced from 2022 to 2026, around 60 billion euros has been planned out to be invested out by the Mercedes-Benz company.

As the spin-off of Daimler Truck was a winning model, Mercedes-Benz is now completely focused on the growth and profitability of the passenger car and van business. The target is to become the pioneer in electric drives as well as in automated vehicle software.

As per the Daimler CEO, the target is to become a leader in the luxury segment and also in premium vans by 2030.
