In the summer, MINI gave a preview of a new electric crossover model with the Concept Aceman. By 2030, MINI will become a pure electric car manufacturer.
According to Stefanie Wurst, Head of the MINI brand,
“The MINI Concept Aceman offers a glimpse of a completely new vehicle that will occupy the position between the MINI Cooper and the MINI Countryman in the future model family,”
“This concept car reflects how MINI is reinventing itself towards an all-electric future and what the brand stands for: an electrified go-kart feel, an immersive digital experience, and a strong focus on a minimal environmental footprint.”

The Aceman planned for 2024 will be located between the five-door MINI hatchback and the compact SUV Countryman.
In an interview with Auto Express, brand boss Stefanie Wurst said that the new model is a “playful concept” and “the go-kart feeling will always be particularly important”.
As the next generation of the Countryman grows to around 4.5 meters in length, Auto Express expects the Aceman to have similar dimensions to the original Countryman.
The technical basis of the MINI Aceman is purely electric car architecture from the joint venture with the Chinese manufacturer Great Wall Motor.
