In the electric car segment, the new vision of BMW showcased at Automobile Messe Freiburg is iNEXT. It is fully electric, fully connected, and highly autonomous driving. It will be built at BMW Group Plant Dingolfing from 2021. D+ACES ( Design + Automated driving, Connectivity, Electrification, and Services) — BMW Group’s strategic areas of innovation are fully integrated.
In the below figure, the interior of the BMW series is shown. The steering wheel and the displays will be clearly positioned towards the driver in the “Boost mode” whereas the driver’s environment is immediately changed when the “Ease” mode is engaged.
