The first-ever electronic platform to build E-Autos is developed by a number of partners. Magna Steyr from Austria, Bosch, Continental, and ZF are the major German suppliers to partner with Sony as an automotive supplier.
The platform is also designed for SUVs. The camera sensor which is a strong point for Sony used in many smartphones is playing a key role. The interior of the S-vision is a long display reaching from door to door which is a striking feature.
As the market for E-Auto has become a lucrative advanced investment zone for various automobile manufacturers and suppliers, it was expected that the electronics companies will also enter into the car business.
However, the market prospects of the Sony car to predict is said to be too early by an industry expert from Gartner.
