Low code technology

How can no-code or low-code technologies be special for a special child?

No Code Technologies for Special Children

Technology is rising and shaping the way we interact with the tech world. The children are also groomed in the direction of technology for a better career and future and hence to take them towards a better life with better-equipped jobs.

Well, the scenario is perfect, even though the recession or bankruptcy of the company does hit like an unwanted tsunami and a sort of Karma that nobody wants to reap from it.

What we know today is going to be in the world of history or mythology book facts. However, the imagination, the world of blurring reality and entering the dream world, where everything is possible, quite leads to a manifestation of any technology to be possible.

No Code Technologies for Special Children

With autonomous vehicles making it possible for special children or disabled children to travel freely with less hassle, why should the learning or educational world be limited?

Some examples of No-Code/Low-Code platforms for children’s education are Scratch, Pictoblox Tinkercad, Thunkable, Make a Code, Bubble, or Appy Pie, which make it possible to quickly play with the tools and grasp the real world behind the technology.

Being a block-based code with colors, it makes it easier for the special child to feel at ease and easy to remember rather than tons of lines of code.

The block-based codes are also similar to puzzles, solving around, or jigsaw puzzles, and hence it looks to be more interactive and playful and understands the concept more easily.

While handling one of my students in the USA, the student felt more comfortable with the block-based codes rather than the tones of lines of Python.

The tools are powerful for young minds, such as the special child with learning disabilities, to hover around and learn while playing with the kit. It creates interest and also arouses curiosity about what can be done further.

Even in the practical world, emotions are needed to boost you and make you confident about yourself to express your creativity and understand real-world problems.

How the No-Code or Low-Code technologies are empowering the tech landscape and can empower the special child with learning difficulties: –

  • Electronic learning empowers digital technologies to deliver educational content outside of the traditional classroom.
  • The educational opportunities are also inclusive and accessible to all learners, regardless of their abilities, backgrounds, or locations.
  • The no-code platforms allow the users to create applications without any code that supports the visual interfaces and pre-built templates to make them accessible to anyone with no technical background.
  • The low-code platforms require some coding knowledge but less manual coding.
  • The kids can use the low-code and no-code platforms to enable personalized solutions for their apps or websites tailored to unique needs.
  • The platforms are well-renowned for breaking down barriers and allowing kids with disabilities to participate actively in software development.
  • The tools support creating adaptive learning experiences based on individual progress and preferences.
  • The kids with speech or communication difficulties can also build apps to express themselves.
  • The visual impairment, dyslexia, or motor challenges can be developed with customized tools.

In my opinion, the children are well supported and can find joy in being involved in an interactive session to talk about the robots. They can also participate in interaction with the kids about the latest coding technologies and other technologies, such as AI and ML environments.

To a maximum length, the students can do their best with learning difficulties.
